Vintage notes
2021 was a near textbook vintage. The spring weather was even with rainfall at the right intervals for flowering resulting in excellent fruit set. The growing season from December through to February was also very even with excellent ripening weather. As a result, sugar and flavour development occurred slowly and simultaneously. The yields were of an average size and excellent quality with a strong expression of the Tarrawarra site.

Winemaker notes
The fruit batches are kept separate in barrel and blended to the style intended to express the truest form of the varietal character and the site.
Notes
Notes of poached strawberries, dried flowers, and a touch of amaro, with soft tannins. On the palate, it reveals dark cherry, aniseed with game and woodsmoke. A silk like texture flows effortlessly into a long finish.
A wine of great finesse.
