The warmth of the 2016 vintage in the Yarra Valley produced perfect conditions for our later ripening varieties with harvest around 10 days earlier than 2015. The vines achieved ideal ripeness and flavor balance. Yield was 5.4 tonnes per hectare
A long north-west facing block with clay loam soils. The block has long produced red varieties with full flavour and a firm tannin structure. The northerly aspect allows for ideal conditions for this late- ripening variety.
