If you are ready for a night of surprises, get along to the Ration vs Pasture Victorian beef dinner at Steer Bar & Grill, South Yarra on 25 January, 2012.
Featuring the produce of top Victorian beef producers, Blackmore's Wagyu Beef and O'Connor's Beef, Steer Bar & Grill have created an exceptional menu paired with some surprise TarraWarra Estate wines.
Meet the producers David Blackmore and Matt O'Connor with a little debate, a bout of discussion and some friendly, meaty, ribbing thrown into the mix.
Older vintage Reserve Chardonnay and Pinot Noir will be served along with a very rare 1993 TarraWarra Estate Brut Reserve and a 1995 Trial Pinot Noir (unfiltered). The yet-to-be-released 2010 J-Block Shiraz will also be included in the line up of wine and beef matches.
