James Halliday's 2010 Australian Wine Companion has been released and features fantastic reviews of the range of TarraWarra Estate wines.

TarraWarra Estate maintained its status as a 5 STAR winery. "Clare Halloran has lightened the TarraWarra style, investing it with more grace and finesse, but without losing any of the complexity or longevity".

TarraWarra Estate MDB Pinot Noir 2006 - 96 POINTS
Less than 100 dozen bottles made from two small selections of the oldest vines on the vineyard, and matured in two French puncheons. A spectacular pinot with exceptional drive and, above all, length and persistence of flavour.

TarraWarra Estate MDB Chardonnay 2006 - 95 POINTS
An unusually complex and textured wine with elements of top Margaret River chardonnay's in its makeup; stone fruit, melon and fig flavours with a gentle swathe of French oak run through the long palate.

TarraWarra Estate Reserve Pinot Noir 2006 - 95 POINTS
Slightly hazy colour; a very intense palate with great thrust and drive to the savoury-nuanced black cherry and plum fruit running through to the finish and lingering aftertaste.

TarraWarra Estate Reserve Chardonnay 2006 - 94 POINTS
An elegant wine marries finesse with complexity; has all the hallmark length of the Yarra Valley, with a tangy/savoury finish and aftertaste.

TarraWarra Estate MRV 2008 - 94 POINTS
A flowery, fresh, elegant wine with excellent length and balance; nuances of honeysuckle, apple and talc on the lingering aftertaste.

TarraWarra Estate Chardonnay 2008 - 94 POINTS
Immaculately structured and balanced, at once complex yet elegant, with melon and white peach fruit, a touch of hazelnut and cream seamlessly woven with French oak.

TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir 2008 - 92 POINTS
Bright, but light, colour; a big-brother to the Rose, with marked texture and structure to the plum, spice and briar flavours of the long palate. Priced low in a tough market.

TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir Rose 2008 - 91 POINTS
Serious, bone-dry rose with texture ex barrel ferment as well as cherry/spice/strawberry fruits; long finish.

TarraWarra Estate Tin Cows Shiraz 2006 - 93 POINTS
An elegant and bright medium-bodied wine, with lively spicy red fruits supported by fine tannins and subtle oak; an exercise in winemaking restraint paying big dividends.

TarraWarra Estate Tin Cows Sauvignon Blanc 2008 - 90 POINTS
An uncompromisingly crisp and punchy wine, driven by cut grass, herb and mineral inputs; long dry finish.

TarraWarra Estate Tin Cows Merlot 2006 - 89 POINTS
An elegant light-to-medium-bodied wine; good varietal typicity courtesy of blackcurrant, cassis and black olive flavours supported by silky tannins.
